Frequently asked questions about your photoshoot

We plan around two hours for a maternity, newborn or family session. Breaks for feeding, changing and cuddling are included. The duration of wedding coverage depends on the package you book. You can find the exact scope on the relevant session page.

A maternity session with the smallest image package costs €440 in total; a newborn session costs €490. A family session in the studio with eight edited photographs costs €490. Extras may be added depending on your booking. The individual session pages list the included services and further packages. I prepare a personal quote for larger families or special plans.

My photographs are light, with simple backgrounds and soft colours. I work mainly with natural light and edit gently. Take a look at the examples of maternity photographs, newborn photographs and family photographs to see whether my style feels right for you.

For maternity photographs, I usually recommend weeks 32 to 36 of pregnancy. For newborn photographs, we like to plan within the first two weeks after birth. These are guidelines; what matters is when you feel ready. If possible, get in touch during pregnancy. We agree the specific baby session date after birth. If you need to reschedule, please let me know early.

For a home session, I come for the newborn photographs in your own home. We use your familiar surroundings and look together for good light. The photographs can include your baby on their own and all of you as a family. Before booking, we discuss whether a home session suits your wishes and what additional costs apply.

Choose clothing that feels comfortable. Plain fabrics and similar tones create a calm look in photographs together. Large logos and bold patterns can distract from faces. For maternity photographs, you can bring a dress or a fitted outfit. Clothing and accessories are also available in the studio. We discuss beforehand what suits your photographs.

Plan the session around what suits you and your baby. You do not need to hurry for photographs if you still need rest after birth. During the appointment, we take breaks for breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, changing and cuddling. If you would prefer to stay at home, you can enquire about a home session.

Write to me through the contact form or by email. Tell me which type of session you would like and roughly when. During pregnancy, your pregnancy week or due date is helpful. For weddings, I need the date and location. I will reply personally and discuss the available appointments with you.

My natural-light studio is at Heimeranstraße 66 in Munich’s Westend. By arrangement, I also photograph in your home or outdoors. I photograph weddings at the agreed venues. We discuss beforehand which option suits your photographs and whether a surcharge applies.

If you are ill, we can reschedule your maternity, newborn or family session free of charge. Please let me know as early as possible. We agree a new date once you are well again. If illness prevents me from photographing a wedding, I will try to find a replacement through my network and discuss the situation directly with you.

After your selection and the editing, you receive the finished photographs as digital files. Prints are also included depending on your package. We agree the delivery method and timing personally. The selection gallery initially shows the images for you to choose from; it is not the delivery of the finished, edited photographs.

You may share your photographs on your personal social media accounts. I would appreciate a link or tag. Please contact me beforehand about commercial use. Copyright remains with me; the right to use your photographs privately is included in your offer.
