The first photographs of your baby
Your baby still fits perfectly in your arms. During a newborn session, I capture the tiny details and your closeness. In my natural-light studio in Munich’s Westend, we create light baby photographs with simple backgrounds and carefully chosen accessories.
We take our time settling in. If your baby is hungry, needs changing or wants a cuddle, we take a break. Beforehand, we discuss the photographs you would like and whether you would prefer a session in the studio or in your own home.

Prices for your newborn session
The total price includes the photography session and an image package. With the Standard package, your session costs €490 in total. Extras are added only if you agree to them.

Tell me your due date or your baby’s age and who you would like to include in the photographs. If you already know whether you would like to come to the studio, please let me know. I will reply personally, answer your questions and look for a suitable date.

Before your newborn session
When is a good time?
For classic newborn photographs, I like to plan a session within the first two weeks after birth. This is a guideline, not a fixed deadline. If your baby is older, we adapt the photographs. What matters is that you feel ready for the session.

How do we plan the date?
You are welcome to get in touch during pregnancy. We initially plan around your due date and confirm the session date after your baby is born. If your baby arrives earlier or later, we adjust the plan. If you need to reschedule an agreed appointment, please let me know early so that we can discuss the options.
Can parents and siblings join the photographs?
Of course, we can also take photographs of you holding or cuddling your baby. Please tell me who will be joining you when you enquire. Sibling photographs are available as an extra. We will discuss the details and costs beforehand.
What happens during the session
Time to settle in
We begin when you and your baby have settled in. You can breastfeed, bottle-feed or change your baby first. Then we see which photographs work well at that moment. Your baby does not need to sleep throughout the session.
What is available in the studio
At my studio in Munich’s Westend we choose together what suits your photographs. Bring your usual changing and feeding essentials. We will discuss anything else before the appointment. A few things are already available for the photographs.

A gentle approach
Your baby is safely positioned and well supported during the photographs. I handle your baby gently and watch which positions feel comfortable. If your baby becomes unsettled, we change the photograph or take a break.
Breaks are part of the session
Your baby sets the pace. We allow time for the little breaks your baby needs along the way.

Your photographs after the session
Choosing and editing your photographs
After the session, you receive access to a password-protected online gallery. You will find a selection of the photographs there and choose your favourites for your image package. I then edit and gently retouch these photographs. Small flakes of skin or scratches can be corrected. Your baby should look just as you know them.
You receive the selected photographs as digital files and prints according to your package. We will discuss when the gallery and finished photographs will be ready at your session.
As your baby grows
Many families return for new photographs later on. During a family session we capture how your children are growing and what has changed for your family. If you are still expecting your baby, you can find out about my maternity sessions.
